Our journey began on September 8, 2012—the day we got married. Just three months later, God opened the door for us to start our first business, Krush Nutrition. What began as a small venture grew beyond anything we could have imagined, eventually leading to the purchase of the historic Times Theater in downtown Jacksonville. From there, Krush Time was born—an indoor recreation center with rock walls, trampolines, and obstacle courses.

But it became more than a business. It was the birthplace of our ministry. Opportunities soon expanded beyond the building: Josh began working both on-camera and behind the scenes in television and media, while also writing books for children and adults. McKea, meanwhile, was unexpectedly offered a teaching position that grew into coaching multiple sports, launching a Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter, and eventually serving as district Principal over grades K–12—all within just a few short years, by God’s grace.

Though we no longer operate Krush Time daily, the building stands as a testimony to what God can do through simple obedience, and we believe He still has a purpose for it in the future. As our ministry has grown in reach and variety, we wanted to create a central place where people could connect with us. That’s why we launched Inside the Gate.
